Teapot “Earthling” small wheel thrown stoneware beige natural matte minimal ceremony teaware

I am a potter from Latvia. After graduating from Falmouth University in Cornwall, I have returned to my childhood home in Rundāle and set up a studio here in 2013. I make wheel-thrown porcelain and wood-fired clay tableware, and porcelain&silver jewelry. I believe that by cultivating attitude of care towards objects will reflect in our relationships and, on a larger scale, our worldview. My aim is to make tableware that brings a little quiet beauty into your everyday life. I am passionate about ‘pleasure in use’ and the tactile qualities of ceramics. My latest collections are featuring such special-effect glazes like satin gold, crater and various microcrystalline glazes. In my more traditional reduction wood-fired earthenware collection I use sgraffito technique for intricate decoration. I love what I do and I hope it shows in my work. they are all created with great care and consideration.
